Meet Dianna

Dianna is a gifted artist and student of art skilled in the craft of realism, but whose heart lies in the abstract. Recently, she has produced work inspired by the waters surrounding islands, flowing in glacial fjords, and stretching to the ocean’s horizon. Her art tends to shun civility for the untamed wildness of a river that can live in the fungibility of time and space, bound only tentatively by banks, levees, and undulating shorelines.  Her art captures something of all waters’ abilities to participate in time and place beyond the limitations of linear daily experience. Dianna captures watery moments, presenting them, as it were, in collage or mosaic that is not confined to anything but her artist’s skill and imagination.

Breathing in, breathing out

Breathing in, breathing out

I am water reflecting

what is real, what is true.

And I feel there is space

deep inside of me.

I am free, I am free, I am free.
